Breast Cancer Awareness Lunch & Learn
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month—a time to learn, encourage, and take action.
The Community Health Improvement Network (CHIN), an initiative of The Montgomery Institute, invites you to a special Breast Cancer Awareness Lunch & Learn focused on education, early detection, and empowering people to take an active role in their breast health.
During this informative community program presented by Dr. Michael Stacy Thaggard, a board-certified radiologist with Baptist Medical Group, participants will learn about breast cancer risk factors, signs and symptoms, the importance of recommended screenings and mammograms, and why early detection matters.
Breast cancer touches individuals, families, friends, and caregivers throughout our community. Having accurate information can help us recognize potential concerns, ask better questions, and make informed decisions about our health.
